Son, Abba for me too.
As a kid I hated the gay twats. But now I love to sing along to an Abba song! and I really enjoyed the film Mamma Mia, great fun.
All very worrying...

Pigbag - Papa's got a brand new bag.
Hated that when it came out. Was completely obsessed by metal at that stage so couldn't appreciate anything that far outside the genre.
Madness were the same. Didn't like them at the time. Really like them now.

Not quite the same, as it's not someone I disliked as a kid, but didn't investigate her even though she was mentioned alot.
Just had her on my stage.....Her Royal Highness Patti Smith.
I am now head over heals in love with her. I've been told to check out the "Horses" album. She is a force of nature, even at her ripe old age. Amazing woman.
